If all counselors are busy, your call is sent to the next nearest center. Everything is considered anonymous and kept confidential unless you choose to share personal information.

Shelters
- Individuals at these institutions are trained personal at issues pertaining to domestic violence. They can provide so much more than a place to go but can offer medical attention, counseling, legal advocacy, education,and support groups. While these establishments may be only temporary, they can assist you in locating free or low rent housing.
Ranches
- The goal of these establishments is not just to provide a safe and caring environment, but to help women get back on their own two feet, remind them that their lives have true meaning, and they matter to so much more than as property of their lover. They can provide activities such as gardens, working with animals, training programs for industry such as sewing, cooking, writing, first aid and CPR, computer science, animal care, mid-wifery, medical assistant, hair dressing. Some even provide medical therapy and medicine.

- Classes such as these have multiple benefits. They teach mental and physical strength and most importantly how to defend one self in a situation of need. It enables the individual on how to read a situation and act appropriately and quickly.
